APX and Express System Pte Ltd close relationship run to 8 years
More than 8 (eight) years APX shipment to Singapore handle by Express System Pte Ltd. As 8 (eight) years definately not a short time period, Mr. Jammy Chung, Regional Director of Express System Pte Ltd said, relationship between Express System and APX not business only, but become closely friendship.
To support and provide excellence services to customer's, Express System Pte Ltd improving their system for monitor of pick up and delivery. As Mr. Jammy Chung said, recently, Express System Pte Ltd had signed the purchase agreement with a company to provide us the GPS service. This service enable to have the following benefits:-
- Monitoring trough our computer where our vehicles are through GPS (Global Position System) via satellite from the space.
- Monitor our mobile workforce and track with GPS enabled phone even inside the building.
- Sending messages to every driver and rider and they can also send back the message via satellite.
All my delivery vans, truck and motorcycle riders will install the facility in two weeks time, It will definitely improve our delivery services of shipments.
Express System Pte Ltd has also in finalized my discussion with a web design company to develop website manifest and live PODs. This program will enable to prepare shipments on PC and upload data to my website. With the installation of GPS system, the all drivers and riders to carry a mobile scanner. Once shipments had been delivered, our drivers/riders will scan the PODs and send it through satellite to our website.
I estimate web design will take 1.5-2 month to finish after that we can provide 100% PODs via website. However instant PODs through GPS plus satellite systems will take at least another 2 month to develop by our web designer.
